It contains 28 chapters The "Book of Acts" is the second book written by Luke, the first one being the Book of Luke, the third book of the Gospel. The Book of Acts, often referred to as the Acts of the Apostles, is not to be considered as a history of what was done by all the Apostles, who were dispersed into different nations; but only a short view of the first establishment of the Christian Church.
